Political Freebies
Political Freebies are among the most common Free Samples & Gifts. This site is not intended to be a platform for political debate, but we will list any and all political freebies that are discovered. You must choose whether any particular political freebie is valuable to you.
The phrase “political freebies” may also require some disambiguation, so this page also addresses freebies for law makers and government freebies (freebies offered by the government)
Free Samples and gifts from political campaigns or political movements
Most political campaigns have part of their budget reserved for printed materials that they will give to campaign followers. These printed materials will turn their followers, their follower’s homes and their follower’s vehicles into advertisements for all to see and pass judgement. Since there is such a high level of intellectual and emotional maturity in this country, you’re welcome to request these freebies from your favorite politician (or the organization against your least favorite), plaster these freebies all over yourself and your property, and invite complete strangers to begin having a wholesome and engaging conversation with you on your candidates position.
Political freebies may include buttons, stickers, banners, yard signs, flags and other promotional materials. If you’re not a fan of a particular candidate then their freebies will probably not be of much value to you. However, the H-stakes for yard signs could potentially be reused, resold or sold for scrap metal. Also the yard signs can easily be converted into a sign for a yard sale.
Whenever political freebies are discovered, they’ll be listed in the Free Samples & Gifts Directory.
Freebies for Law Makers
Law makers are constantly trying to pass laws. How well they actually do it or whether that’s a good thing is up for debate. One of the laws they’ve passed requires that pharmaceutical companies disclose when doctors get kickbacks for prescribing their medicines. They’ve also passed laws that restrict how much medical supply companies can give doctors on sales calls.
Yet, who passes the bill that restricts the freebies that law makers can get from various organizations and lobbyists? A few law makers have actually tried, but why would a majority vote to reduce their own benefits? It certainly must be a difficult law to pass.
So if you want to effect change in this world, donate a lot of money to a political candidate’s campaign, buy them meals and influence large numbers of people to follow them. The more freebies you give them, the more likely you’ll be able to request a private audience with them and get them to vote your way once they’re in office.
Government Freebies
Government Freebies are paid for by tax payers. They are mostly intended to help people in very specific cases, such as when the government wants to develop specific areas of land, or help those who are classified as “low income”. In the 80s and 90s, the topic of freebies was mostly covered by Matthew Lesko (the question mark guy), who published multiple books and appeared on TV shows. Most of his content simply explained government freebies in laymen’s terms. A more modern author who has done this is Kevin Trudeau.
Actually Free has a Government Freebies directory. Freebies will be added to the directory whenever they are discovered, but not every freebie will apply to everyone. The purpose of listing these freebies is to help those who can benefit from them. Maintaining the directory is not intended to increase costs for tax payers or support any particular political movement.
