Happy Halloween — the night of free candy for kids in costumes.
I haven’t posted anything on this site in a while. At the beginning of the year I was in the process of getting a custom website design but the designers were poor quality and didn’t make good on their word. I’ve also been busy with a new business — www.MirexMarketing.com.
Although this site has been inactive for the last few months I still plan to create the usual holiday posts, including freebies related to Black Friday and Christmas. I’ve already started to get freebies that I’ll be using as Christmas gifts and the buzz is starting for Black Friday deals. Read my previous Black Friday freebies and Christmas freebies posts for super saving tips on your shopping this year. Now is the best time to start preparing. In fact, if you have kids, tonight was an excellent night to start on the stocking stuffers. Take half of the kids’ Halloween candy and save it for their stockings on Christmas morning. Last year stocking stuffers were one of my biggest expenses. All of those little items can add up. By using Halloween candy you can reduce expenses for stocking stuffers and spread the junk food out between both holidays so the kids don’t get too much candy all at once. It’s a good solution for multiple reasons.
Stay alert for up-coming posts. For now, enjoy this video on free Halloween costumes (I realize Halloween is over; once you see the video you’ll notice that it wouldn’t have been that helpful if it was posted before Halloween. But its still good for laughs any time).
