Muni WiFi is when a municipality offers WiFi to all residents or occupants within city borders.
Some airports have wireless free internet (WiFi), others have paid wireless internet. Find your airport on Foursquare and see if the wireless internet password is available in the comments section. Jetblue offers WiFi to all passengers. Alaska Airlines lets passengers use iMessage, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger. T-Mobile Customers can get 1 hour of free WiFi on any flight.
