Freebies For Business Owners
There are freebies for business owners, and just for business owners for a few different reasons. One reason a freebie might be available to a business owner is because that business owner is a marketing target. Like many of the freebies listed under commercial freebies which are for general consumers (B2C), there are also businesses that sell products and services to other businesses (B2B) and they use promotional freebies the same way. Another reason a freebie might be available to a business owner is to stimulate the economy or it’s a way of benefiting all of the business owner’s employees.
Free Samples & Gifts For Business Owners
The Free Samples and Gifts Directory has a separate business category. These may include free samples from wholesalers, office supply or print shops
B2B Sales Collateral
One of the most effective marketing channels for B2B products and services, is live human interaction. In another word–sales. Sales is also one of the most unnerving processes, often having to make cold introductions and then going through a sequence of following up until the sale is made. One of the best aspects of that process is what some sales trainers call “romancing the prospect”, which could easily include lunch or gifts just to get the business owner to listen. Congress and the FTC have placed some limitations on these types of gifts over the last few years, but they still exist. If you’re a business owner, you may or may not think these gifts are worth it, since they imply that you’ll be willing to sit through a sales pitch.
Business Expenses Are Free To The Personal Budget
If you’re running your business properly, then there will be no intermingling of funds. This means that your business will have a separate bank account, separate credit cards and separate expenses entirely from your personal budget. If your business buys you a computer, that’s technically free to you since your business paid for it, not you. Business expenses are also tax-deductible, however if the asset was used for personal reasons the tax deduction may only be good for a percentage, not the whole of the expense.
Free Business Solutions
There are multiple resources to help you start a business and run it successfully. You can get free business mentoring from SCORE.org. You could potentially get many different resources from the local library, such as business books, coaching on audio books, and access to niche databases that would normally cost a subscription. There are multiple resources for free marketing, including any public relations media. The government and local non-profits also have multiple programs to help businesses succeed (see below).
See the following pages for additional resources: Trade Show Freebies, Free Services From Students, Trade & Barter (Arbitrage Is Free), Wholesale Is Free, Make Money Online, Book Scouting, Cash For Stuff, Passive Cash Flow Businesses With $0 Startup Fees, Free IP – The Public Domain & Creative Commons, The Zero Expense Income Statement, and Tax-Free.
There are also multiple resources online for business owners. See Web Freebies: Business Freebies.
Government Freebies & Non-Profit Assistance For Business Owners
Government programs and non-profits are occasionally established just to help business owners as a way to stimulate the economy or provide resources where individuals can become self-sufficient. Whenever these resources are discovered they’ll be added to the Business Freebies Directory, Government Freebies Directory and Non-Profit Directory.
